Joe Biden Gives Out More Dangerous Gun Advice

Pretending like he’s an expert on the subject, it didn’t take long for Joe Biden to offer more dangerous gun advice. In the latest development demonstrating VP Joe Biden’s ignorance when it comes to firearms, he made this comment to Field & Stream magazine:

“Well, you know, my shotgun will do better for you than your AR-15, because if you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door. Most people can handle a shotgun a hell of a lot better than they can a semiautomatic weapon in terms of both their aim and in terms of their ability to deter people coming. We can argue whether that’s true or not, but it is no argument that, for example, a shotgun could do the same job of protecting you.”

First of all, we debunked his “ease of handling and aiming” claims here.

Secondly, did he learn nothing of the tragic shooting in South Africa involving Olympian David Pistorius? Shoot through the door!?!

Again, Vice President Biden is presenting information to the public that is actually illegal in many cases, and has the ability to completely destroy lives. One of the 4 Fundamental Rules of firearm handling is “Always be sure of your target and what is in line with it.”

With people like this in charge, it’s no wonder some feel like banning guns is a good idea. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near Mr. Biden with a shotgun in his hands.

UPDATE: From US News & World Report – “According to Delaware attorneys contacted by U.S. News, in Biden’s home state it is only legal to use deadly force if there is reason to fear imminent loss of life. Shooting a gun in the air could result in felony reckless endangering and aggravated menacing charges, in addition to misdemeanor charges, the lawyers said.”

In fact, a man in Virginia was charged with reckless handling of a firearm just days earlier for doing just as Biden suggested when two masked men with weapons approached him at his window. Read the full story here.
