Recommended Gear for Concealed Carry
To carry properly, you need more than just a gun. This is our recommended gear for concealed carry. At a minimum, gun owners who plan to carry concealed should own the following additional equipment:
- Eye and ear protection
- A proper gun belt
- A proper gun holster (one size does not fit all – get a holster fitted to your firearm)
- Spare magazines (we recommend you own at least 5 magazines for your gun. Without a functioning magazine, your gun is useless)
- Defensive ammunition (hollow points are more expensive than bulk ammo, but the only type you should carry in your carry gun)
- A flashlight (always be sure of your target, which means you must be able to identify your target in low-ligh situations)
